Arab Coalition says Yemen's Southern Transitional Council prevents coastguard from doing job
Arab news

The Arab Coalition said Sunday that the Southern Transitional Council in Yemen has prevented the Yemeni coastguard from performing its duties, Saudi Arabia's Al Ekhbariya TV reported.
A coalition official was quoted saying the Transitional Council has not been responsive regarding the continued work of the Yemeni coastguard.

Forces loyal to the council, which wants southern Yemen to break away as a separate state, have previously clashed with troops supporting Yemen's government, which is backed by the coalition.
The separatists and the government are part of an alliance fighting Iran-backed Houthis militants that control the north of the country.
